The right team.
The right opportunity.

Connect family expectations with real roster needs—for a season, a game, a weekend or a tournament.

Concept preview—not a live matching service. No accounts, searches, listings, messages or bookings are enabled. Name clearance, pricing, launch region, safeguards and technology remain to be finalized.

Season-long matching

Families set their preferences.

Playing age, season, general location, commute, total seasonal budget, practice availability, travel tolerance, level, positions, goals and preferences around roster size, playing time and position development. Add optional sourced statistics, assessments and permitted video.

Guardian-managed for minors. Budget ceilings remain private—not shared as willingness to pay.

Teams describe actual openings.

Age/classification, season, location, schedule, travel, roster size, positions, staff, selection process, tryout details and desired skills. Publish itemized dues, uniforms, tournaments, required training, fundraising, estimated travel and deposit/refund terms.

Listings expire or require reconfirmation so filled positions do not remain discoverable.

Explain the fit—not just a score.

Separate hard requirements from preferences. Check eligibility, season, real openings, budget, travel and availability before comparing positions, readiness and goals. Show why an opportunity fits and what still needs discussion; never silently relax a family’s limits.

Velocity, running times, catcher pop time and other appropriate indicators may inform matching. Label dates, methods, conditions, sources and verification. Most metrics should be preferences, particularly for younger players. No universal velocity threshold; missing expensive showcase measurements should not prevent a tryout request.

Guest Player / Pickup Availability

Players and families post

  • Available dates, general location and travel radius.
  • Eligible playing age, competitive level and positions.
  • Relevant performance information where available.
  • Cost and travel preferences.
  • “Guest opportunities only” or “also seeking a permanent team.”

Coaches post or search for

  • Event, dates, location and response deadline.
  • Age/classification, positions and number of openings.
  • Expected role—not a guaranteed playing-time promise.
  • Costs and what the team covers.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE · NOT A LIVE LISTING

14U team needs a catcher for July 12–14, within 75 miles.

Tournament fee covered; family handles travel. Organizer eligibility and roster approval still required.

Availability expires automatically, and accepted opportunities flag calendar conflicts. Guest-only availability must not suggest the athlete intends to leave their current team.

A match is not eligibility clearance.

Keep guest participation marked “eligibility pending” until required checks are complete:

An accepted invitation does not establish eligibility, insurance coverage or medical fitness. Organizer approval and applicable rules govern participation.

Safety and privacy from the start.

Legal review must address COPPA, applicable state rules and international child-data obligations before launch. Parent-managed accounts do not eliminate those responsibilities. Safeguarding references are design benchmarks—not claims of affiliation or clearance.

Build a focused pilot.

Start as a mobile-friendly web feature in one region with enough active teams and families. Include preferences, verified listings, explained matches, introductions, guardian–coach communication, tryout coordination and moderation. Neither an AI model nor a GameChanger API is required for the first version; authorized data may enrich profiles later.

Measure current listings, accepted introductions, attended tryouts, lasting placements, satisfaction and safety response—not endless swiping. Plan for languages, regions, currency and units without claiming an existing international network.

Membership and launch status

Core player/team membership access is a proposed option, not a confirmed inclusion or new fee. Verification, moderation, support and technology costs need validation. Pricing, dates, eligibility workflows and launch region remain open. Do not submit athlete information to this preview.
